During global residencies, students spend the week attending case method classes, engaging with local Darden alumni, participating in Global Leadership Explorations and learning to work across international borders. GEMBA students attend all four residencies; EMBA students attend at least one of their choosing.
Darden's executive MBA program is now more global than ever. While GEMBA students participate in all four global residencies, EMBA students select one of the four to attend.
Past global residencies in Brazil have spent time in business and cultural hubs such as Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
Past global residencies in China have explored business, governmental, and cultural centers such as Shanghai and Beijing.
Past global residencies in Europe have allowed students to explore business hubs such as Paris and Berlin.
Past global residencies in India have allowed students to learn about key cities in India's economy and culture, such as Mumbai, Agra, Delhi and Gurgaon.
