International Recruiting

  • Darden attracts talent from top multinational companies around the globe and graduates from premier international universities with incredible knowledge of global and regional markets. International students make up approximately 30 percent of the student body, representing more than 80 countries. These students are seeking opportunities in the U.S. and abroad, and are authorized to work in the U.S. for summer and full-time employment with Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and Optional Practical Training (OPT).

    For International Positions

    • Video Distance Recruiting – Employers can conduct company briefings, office hours, networking and interviewing via video conferencing.
    • Targeted Postings – Job opportunities sent directly to your specific geographic population
    • International Resume Book – Resume books exclusively for students seeking international opportunities. These books are available for any specific geography, industry or home country work authorization.

    For U.S. Positions

    • International students on F-1 status are authorized to work in the United States for summer internships by using Curricular Practical Training (CPT), and one-year of full-time employment after graduation by using Optional Practical Training (OPT)
    • Employment authorization, with company H-1B visa sponsorship, is possible for up to six additional years without gaps in employment. 
    • The H-1B visa petition process does not require proving there is no U.S. candidate that qualifies for the position.
